In Abrahamic religions, Heaven is the place destined for all those that are truly loyal to God, or Allah (Arabic for God). This is in very stark contrast to Hell.
There is also the view that heaven can just be the state of mind of pure happiness felt by good spirits living in the Spirit World that have a tranquil conscience and are collecting the rewards of their correct actions. In that sense, it would be just a type of Internal Reality.
